Palliser Toastmasters

Palliser Toastmasters is a downtown, lunch hour, Calgary-based, friendly, fun, and energetic club that meets weekly and everyone is welcome!

At Palliser Toastmasters, whether you are an experienced professional or new to public speaking you will be given the opportunity to develop and improve your public speaking, listening and leadership skills. Our club has many experienced Toastmasters and brand new members who are learning and providing each other new skills and techniques to improve their communication and leadership skills and our members will gladly help you too!

Palliser Toastmasters’ members, each with the goal of improving, learn from Toastmaster manuals as well they bring their experiences, talents and abilities from their personal and professional lives to our meetings!

Joining our club will allow you to:

§ observe fantastic speeches;

§ become comfortable speaking in front of an audience; and

§ provide opportunities to hone your leadership skills.

Again, everyone is welcome no matter what level of public-speaking experience you have, our meetings start at noon every Wednesday and are located at:

Everyone at Palliser Toastmasters started just like you from the ground up. This is not a private club for the elite and distinguished public speakers. New members join all the time, and quickly gain confidence and experience in communicating. Our club environment is friendly and supportive, and the self-paced program allows you to build confidence with each speaking assignment. And you’ll love the applause! Constructive evaluation is the heart of the Toastmasters program. Each time you give a prepared speech, an evaluator will point out strengths and suggest improvements. At first you’ll be applauded for your effort; later you’ll be applauded for your skill.
